For individuals who have been incarcerated or involved in gang activity, finding hope and a path towards a better future can seem impossible. However, our program offers a community of support, mentorship, and therapeutic practices to help individuals find the strength and courage to change their lives for the better. In this post, we'll take a closer look at our 12-step-based therapeutic community and how we're helping individuals find hope and change.
Our program is rooted in the principles of 12-step recovery programs, which focus on spiritual concepts such as honesty, faith, hope, prayer, meditation, and helping others. We believe that by incorporating these practices into our program, individuals can find the inner strength and motivation they need to make positive changes in their lives. One of the key elements of our program is the mentorship provided by individuals who have been through similar experiences. These mentors serve as role models and provide guidance and support to help individuals navigate the challenges of transitioning from a life of crime to a life of purpose and meaning. In addition to mentorship, our program also emphasizes community and giving back. We believe that by creating an environment where individuals can come together to support one another and give back to their communities, they can find a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. While we currently do not offer job training or education, we believe that the skills and principles learned through our program can serve as a foundation for individuals to pursue further education or vocational training.
Through our 12-step-based therapeutic community, we are working to create a space where individuals who have been incarcerated or involved in gang activity can find hope, healing, and a path towards a better future. By emphasizing spiritual concepts, mentorship, and community, we believe that individuals can find the strength and motivation they need to make positive changes in their lives and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
